JIS X 0202 vs EUC

What's the differency between JIS X 0202 and EUC? And why would JIS X 0202 violate POSIX standards while EUC doesn't? Both are based on ISO-2022. And what exactly are those standards anyway? Shinobu 18:13, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
