 | This is the template sandbox page for Template:Pending Changes backlog-defcon (diff). |
This template displays the backlog of articles with edits awaiting review in the Pending Changes queue. The size of this backlog is assigned to one of five levels, from "very high" (1) to "very low" (5), much like the DEFCON scale. This level determines the colour coded large number displayed, and the actual number of articles in the queue is shown in smaller font below.
The information - level, number in queue (info), and time signature (sign) - is provided by DatBot, Task 4, and is updated every 15 minutes approximately.

Utilizes the infobox CSS class (so the heading only appears highlighted like that if it's embedded in, say, another infobox. Or this collapse box). This template is based off the wikitables for each category at Saffir-Simpson scale. The category and actual level are switched because higher vandalism types are considered to be more intense. A backup copy of this template is available in my sandbox at User:PorkchopGMX/sandbox/hurricanedefcon. The nautical version by Herostratus above can be used as an alternative to this.
