What's the point of the protocol? All the mentioned advantages are either available in IMAP directly or through extensions (Namely: BINARY - transfer decoded attachments, URLAUTH+CATENATE+BURL - part of the Lemonade initative, mail is transferred only once). --82.208.37.229 06:51, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
