Is there any difference with unit testing?

"creation of small, independent scripts that represent modules, sections, and functions of the application-under-test": this is clearly related to unit testing. So, if Modularity-driven testing is actually different from unit testing (or from actions that need to be performed as part of unit testing), this should be explained. In academic literature, there is a "compositional testing" concept than seems deeper than this "modularity-based testing" notion. Vasywriter (talk) 06:11, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
