Somparé as a de jure president

[edit]

How come he could be a de jure president as the postponement of parliamentary elections by Conté was totally unconstitutional even under his tyrannically made constitution. According to the constitution Somparé's term as speaker was already expired in December and therefore he should not have assumed presidency. --128.214.121.229 (talk) 08:44, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ideology?

[edit]

Did they have one? Or was it more of a personal election vehicle to legitimize Conté's rule? 79.146.140.241 (talk) 17:28, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
