Incomprehensible

Can whoever is quite good at C please clraify and rewrite this section? I'm trying to find the max and min values for a double as macros, but the different constants aren't described here. And yes, I know I *should* look elsewhere for that, but Wikipedia is such a good reference tool. K&R you say? *Chuckle*. Beau Martinez (talk) 23:06, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
