Generator is Missed!

The backtracking algorithm will act as a generator when run on an empty board. The Perl code is still available somewhere in the history of the page. -Zahlentheorie (talk) 21:03, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Animated GIF for Exact Cover Visualisation

Created this GIF of a Sudoku solver that I wrote in Javascript - https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Sudoku_Exact_Cover.gif, for visualising the solution by exact cover.

@MrOllie My revision is valid and cites reliable sources

The wiki is created by Andrew Stuart, a published author in Sudokus. And the video by Simon Anthony, former UK team member World Sudoku championships.
