The term field-programmable gate array

The history section doesn't mention who actually came up with the term Field-programmable gate array or who used it first. --217.149.171.189 (talk) 04:10, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Highly improbable you will ever find a citable source for that. If anything the term likely arose out of groups of individuals and teams all working on the concept. I cannot find anything supporting the idea that one singular person, team, or entity came up with the term. --skarz (talk) 17:00, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
