Jake Reinvented is a novel by Gordon Korman about a teenage boy named Jake whose life is turned upside down when his father suddenly moves him to a new school. Jake struggles to fit in at his new school and is soon labeled the class clown. However, he soon discovers that being the class clown has its advantages. He finds ways to get out of tests and assignments and even gets away with some pranks. He also begins to make friends and even finds a few enemies along the way. By the end of the novel, Jake has reinvented himself and gained acceptance from his peers. He has learned to take risks and stand up for himself. Ultimately, Jake has gone from being the class clown to a successful and confident young man. it was published 2003 September 1
