It seems to me that pseudo-documentary would be a more accurate name for this technique. "Semi" implies that it is almost a documentary, perhaps being more like a movie based on a real life story. "Pseudo", on the other hand, implies falsehood; a false documentary, in this case. - Gus (T, C) 2008-12-03 04:52Z
