what is random walk with restart

"First description"

The citation for "in it's first description" is certainly wrong. For example,

M. MeilPa and J. Shi, “Learning segmentation by random walks,” in Neural Information Processing Systems, 2001.

Is from 2001 (compared to the "first description" in the current article from 2006). --MartinThoma (talk) 17:03, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
