[edit]

This stub was posted on September 30, 2010, as a courtesy and a clarification. Two new articles on Periodic Graphs (Geometry) and Periodic Graphs (Crystallography) were posted on an active area of applied mathematics. The area concerned a kind of Euclidean graph called a periodic graph (or a crystal net). However, it turns out that there is a thread in graph theory about graph theoretic operators, and there is a tendency to call a graph that is periodic with respect to a particular operator a periodic graph.

In order to provide access (and confirmation of the subject's existence) to a browser who is actually interested in graph-theoretic periodic graphs, I have posted this stub. It is only a stub, and I would recommend that knowledgeable visitors develop it a bit.
