Following text is from Debug Menu (now a redirect to here), but I don't think there's much here that can be merged. Marasmusine 14:58, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The debug menu is what is used to test a video game. If a player gains access to it they are able to play as some NPCs and play in exlusive areas. These area's were removed from actual gameplay for reasons and using the debug menu for gameplay often results in the game freezing.

Merged content of debug room

I have merged anything salvageable from debug room (now a redirect) to here as well as to Easter egg (media) where applicable. Ultimately, most of the content was scrapped as it was all unsourced and much of it was a duplicate of the concept of a debug menu anyway. The ideas from the "programmer's room" section of debug room were incorporated to Easter egg (media) with credit in the edit summary, although again much of the content was scrapped due to it being unsourced. ♠PMC(talk) 23:35, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

SM64 gold trophies + 2P mode

There is no such thing in SM64 as a "gold trophy" (as anyone who has played the game will know), no evidence of an unused split screen mode and there is no debug mode that allows you to unlock things. --Mariomadproductions (talk) 20:06, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This IP edit changed it from Mario Kart 64 to Super Mario 64 without any explanation. I assume it is actually a thing in MK64 and should just be changed back? --Jessietail (talk) 22:40, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
