My idea with this template is a to have an infobox modelled after boxes like {{Infobox Software}} or {{Infobox Television}}. It is still in its infancy so any and all help would be appreciated.--Max( | )

What would you think of a base price field? -Steven Fisher 14:15, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think no. The prices can fluctuate quickly, especially in the case of PC's. My main arguement against it is that prices are different in various countries, and since Wikipedia is an international site, this could get out of hand. More arguements are on WP:HD#Prices.--Max Talk (add) 23:51, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've added it to the Apple articles, since the price points are the only differentiation points lately and the US prices are obviously the references prices (and I am not in the US). I won't be offended if you remove it, but it does seem to add to the articles that use it. -- Steven Fisher 22:44, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
How about adding fields for memory (minimum, maximum, technology) and technology? These are important on older machines from 50s and 60s where core memory, vacuum tubes, or discrete transistors were used. -- RTC 16:35, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
