The Battle of Britain 2

A slight challenge here on The Battle of Britain 2, in that the publisher of the game posted reviews on their website, and listed the name of the publication but not the date or other information. So what I am asking for here, is if anyone is able to locate originals of these reviews, can you just please provide the citation for me so that I can reasonably include these reviews in the article?

The reviews in question are, as posted on archive.org:

Thanks, BOZ (talk) 18:39, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@BOZ: I found a fourth review on archive.org, in magazine Computer Gaming World. [4]. Will keep looking for them, though. KHR FolkMyth (talk) 19:02, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! That's the one good one that I already had though, but I appreciate it. :) BOZ (talk) 19:03, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
According to this issue, the game (also known as "Battle for Britain II") was released in Dec 91, which may give a window of time to look for its contemporary reviews. KHR FolkMyth (talk) 19:29, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@BOZ:. Found the lost Macworld issue: Jan 1993 KHR FolkMyth (talk) 19:38, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome, thanks! That's one down. :) BOZ (talk) 19:42, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@BOZ: Found the date on the Chicago newspaper: July 26, 1992. Page needs a subscription, though: [5] KHR FolkMyth (talk) 19:53, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@BOZ: I have access to a database entry with the page number/date/title/etc. Please send me a wikimail if you want it. Best, —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 21:47, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Cinderella Cycle and tale type ATU 314, "Goldener" - List of Tales

  • Rooth, Anna Birgitta. The Cinderella Cycle. Lund, 1951. pp. 252-254.

For The Black Colt and related articles about tale type ATU 314, "Goldener" or "The Youth Transformed to a Horse". In the indicated pages of Anne Birgitta Rooth's work, she lists some tales on pages 252-254 in regards to her "Type C + 314", that is, the stepmother introduction of ATU 314 (see "The Black Colt" and "Donotknow").

Pajz, not to abuse your goodwill, but is it possible to scan only these few pages?

Thanks, KHR FolkMyth (talk) 01:21, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Georgios A. Megas's work on Cupid and Psyche - excerpt about tale type ATU 432, "The Prince as Bird"

  • Megas, Georgios A. Das Märchen von Amor und Psyche in der griechischen Volksüberlieferung. Athens, Greece: Akadēmias Athēnōn, 1971. pp. 180-190.

For The Bird Lover (overview of tale type), The Blue Bird (fairy tale) (French tale by MMe. d'Aulnoy), Prince Sobur (Indian tale) and Verde Prato (Italian fairy tale) (first Italian literary attestation).

Many thanks to the one who brought me the Inhalt. At any rate, Megas's book cites the French and the Indian traditions of the tale type, and the section is very short, so I believe there isn't much of problem to peruse it.

  • West, M. L. (2011). "The Greek Poetess: Her Role and Image". Hellenica. Vol. III. Oxford University Press. pp. 215-240 315-340.

For Wikipedia's various articles on Greek women poets, particularly Telesilla, Praxilla, Moero, and Myrtis. The article was previously published in German in M.L. West, Die Griechische Dichterin Bild Und Rolle 1996 (pp. 9 ff.), and I'd take that if that's all that people can get hold of but I'd much prefer the English!

For Athanasios Rhousopoulos (currently a redlink which I'm working on writing - has a Greek version but needs more sources to make the jump to English); depending on results, possibly other articles to do with 19th-century Greek archaeology.
