.)Ecological Competence was the stub article chosen. I chose this article because I believe ecology is something that should have more attention paid to it and information about it is lacking in regard to public knowledge. Ecological competence

.) The stub class labeling can be found at the top of the talk page where it classifies the article as a stub class.

.) The article could use more development essentially everywhere as only definitions for different perspectives are given. More information regarding how ecological competent species and humanity are could be added to further develop the article. Developing sections for how it's applied in nature and across cultures could benefit the article. Perhaps describing how developed different countries across the world are ecologically competent could be added as well. Perhaps more background into ecological competence could be given as well. This could be done by expressing how it's evolved over time in different species. Or some historical documentation could be put into to describe how humanity has ecologically developed over time.

.) The references list an organizational website that speaks toward the biological aspect while the others are publications that seem to discuss cultural aspects. The referred source links appear to maintain functionality.

.) Compared to other more developed articles, this one appears to be missing a lot of content. The only sections it commonly shares are those on microbiology and sociology, where it briefly describes the outlooks of ecology from their perspectives.
