The JB2 script is a script written by CWii and based off of twinkle. It allows for easy tagging of images that will be moved to the commons by an autonomous process, John Bot II.

Installation

[edit]

Installation is simple, if you already have twinkle or another twinkle based tool just simply append this to your monobook.js

importScript('User:CWii/JB2script.js');

Or, if you don't have a twinkle based tool add this:

importScript('User:AzaToth/morebits.js');
importScript('User:CWii/JB2script.js');

Use

  1. Find images that fall under the guidelines to be moved. (See Wikipedia:Moving_images_to_the_Commons, Category:Copy_to_Wikimedia_Commons is a good place to start)
  2. Verify that the image isn't under fair use polices, etc.
  3. If the image has an undescriptive name, give it a new name
  4. Find categories on commons for the image
  5. If the uploader doesn't want the local image removed, then check Keep Local
  6. Hit Submit
  7. Repeat
