Not an interface

Although "interface" is in the name, these are not interfaces. An interface contains ports and bus connectors, with circuitry and firmware to convert one into the other, or to generate signals under microprocessor control. These don't have any of that; they're breakout boards, ie they connect ports directly to pin connectors. This is a great convenience when using FPGAs or other hardware development, but aren't something you can plug directly into a bus. The difference from other breakout boards are just the PMOD connectors, which can plug into other PMOD connectors or to jump leads. Handling which connections do what, is not their problem. 31.185.227.199 (talk) 09:32, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
