Doesn't meet WP:NLIST. Boleyn (talk) 21:17, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
- merge with List of non-sovereign monarchs who lost their thrones in the 20th century or List of monarchs who lost their thrones in the 21st century Eddie891 Talk Work 22:32, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
- @Boleyn:, what do you think of the idea to merge this article with List of non-sovereign monarchs who lost their thrones in the 20th century as proposed by @Eddie891:? The two articles could become a single one, List of non-sovereign monarchs who lost their thrones. Ktrimi991 (talk) 23:52, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
- I don't have a strong opinion either way on that one, the merge target needs a lot of work and isn't clearly notable either. It has more potential, however. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 08:12, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
- Pinging @Mr Hall of England:, who created the original series. UnitedStatesian (talk) 01:01, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

- Delete per WP:LISTN. One entry does not make a notable list. Ajf773 (talk) 09:47, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

- Delete - agree with User: Ajf773 that one entry does not make a notable list. Vorbee (talk) 08:58, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
- Keep, and
overthrow a few more to make it a more decent listpossibly merge. Possible target could be List of non-sovereign monarchs who lost their thrones since 1900. But in any case, it is encyclopaedic information and should be on one of these lists somewhere. It would be ridiculous if someone looking up abolished monarchies on Wikipedia was to miss Nepal because of this deletion. The total number of monarchies is relatively small so there is no excuse for us not to be comprehensive. So keep, in whatever format, but keep. SpinningSpark 00:22, 1 January 2019 (UTC) - Delete, unnecessary for only one example. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:241:300:C930:201D:106:EB38:91EF (talk) 01:13, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
- Give a justification why it is unnecessary when I offered a reason why it is necessary directly above your comment. SpinningSpark 16:33, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
- Keep This is part of an established article structure, and there are 81 more years for it to be filled out. We already have List of killings by law enforcement officers in the United States, 2019, for Pete's sake. UnitedStatesian (talk) 05:20, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
- Comment, the one you mentioned is currently only a redirect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:241:300:C930:90C7:175A:9080:AF98 (talk) 04:23, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
- Not any longer. UnitedStatesian (talk) 19:41, 3 January 2019 (UTC)

- Comment: The List of monarchs who lost their thrones in the 21st century page is fairly short, so perhaps the information on this page could be transferred to that page to make it longer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:241:300:C930:757D:455D:A55F:26CF (talk) 03:38, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
- Comment: I just heard on the news that king Sultan Muhammad V of Malaysia has abdicated to marry a beauty queen. So this list now potentially has two entries. Also, I don't know if Emperor of Japan is non-sovereign (the article says "the Emperor was the embodiment of all sovereign power in the realm...[but since]...the enactment of the 1947 Constitution, he has been a ceremonial head of state without even nominal political powers.") but if so, the current emperor is due to abdicate in April bringing the list to three entries. - merge with the other centuries' articles into a single list. It will be more useful that way. DGG ( talk ) 04:20, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
