Abramson in the Journal of the International Phonetic Association (Vol. 23, No. 1). The article was reprinted in the IPA handbook (1999). In the handbook, the page is 148. "Chewy" is also the English equivalent given on page 8 of "Thai: An Essential Grammar" (2002) by David A. Smyth. Please do not start an edit war. Please discuss the matter on the talk page per WP:BRD. undo Tag: Manual revert

"Story" works as an example of [o] for most dialects of English. TRAP is not [ɛ]. "Cut" is a terrible example for speakers without the FOOT-STRUT split. "Millefeuille" doesn't have a consistent British pronunciation. undo Tag: Reverted

All of sound produce from ch and similar like `question` would be more closer to ช and ฉ or ฌ in Thai. If there are จ which was Latinized as ch, that was came from consonant shift from sanskrit and khmer undo Tags: Undo Reverted
