AIV helperbot information

HBC AIV helperbot14 assists with the management of vandalism reports. Edit the following parameters in the page header to control the bot's behavior:

RemoveBlocked: On to enable automatic removal of blocked users from the list. Any other value will disable this functionality (only in cases of bot malfunctions, please).
MergeDuplicates: On to enable automatic merging of multiple reports of the same person. Any other value will disable this functionality.
AutoMark: On to enable automatic marking of users with special IPs or membership in categories as defined at User:HBC AIV helperbot/Special IPs. Any other value will disable this functionality.
FixInstructions: On to enable automatic repair of the reporting instruction HTML comments in the User-reported section of the page, as defined at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism/instructions. Any other value will disable this functionality.
AutoBacklog: On to enable the automatic switching on or off of the {{adminbacklog}} message. Any other value will disable this functionality. Associated parameters are:
- AddLimit: The number of vandalism reports at which the {{adminbacklog}} message will be made visible.
- RemoveLimit: The number of vandalism reports at which the backlog message will be disabled ({{noadminbacklog}}).

FALSE ALLEGATION MADE AGAINST MY WRITINGS IN FEB 2025

Dear Sirs, I have been contributing to Bangla Wiki for many years. I love to write and support spreading knowledge in my Bangla community.

This is a volunteer job, and I have never tried to participate here. I have plenty of writings under my ID Sayeed. hassan. In the last competition, I was notified about some vandalism with the threat to remove me from the Bangla Wiki. I was surprised. The person keeps saying that I have done something like this. I still can not forget the night mare.

I requested the person to reveal his identity and check the audit trail to know if the problem arose from the system.

I still do not know what happened, actually and what the vandalism means in writing.

Sir, I would request that you find out why I have been accused of something that I am not aware of. I am a very sincere and active person throughout my life. I feel very depressed and humiliated by such an incident.

If this is not the right place to query, please let me know where I should write.

This not the correct place to discuss this, but I see no point in suggesting a better place as this has already been explained, at length, to you on your talk page by user:DonIago, the editor who warned you. As that editor posted: Your edit speaks for itself. If it was accidental on your part and you don't intend to make further edits of this nature, you can ignore the notice. Your named account made an inappropriate edit, on English Wikipedia. The original post contains a hyperlink to your problematic edit. Here it is again: Your edit. It's the blue link "Your edit". Click onit to see your edit. You were warned for that edit here on English Wikipedia. Your editing history on Bangla Wiki is irrelevant, and there was no threat to remove you from that Wiki related to this edit on English Wikipedia. I wouldn't have started off with a level 3 warning for that one edit, but that's the only possible issue I see. What else is there to say say?

Just to note that your previous edit to English Wikipedia, just over a year earlier, was the identical "<nowiki>~~~~ sayeed.hassan</nowiki>" string inserted into a different article, but that time using two edits: [1] and [2]. It's difficult to believe that you made the identical edit, one year apart, to two different articles by accident. You should WP:DROPTHESTICK Meters (talk) 08:14, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Bot removing reports because of existing page-specific block

Twice now HBC AIV helperbot14 has removed a report of User:IP 2600:100C:B242:6AAB:0:49:35CF:8B01 because @Joyous!: had blocked them earlier today, but that was only a page-specific block. Please allow this IP to be blocked completely as they are continuing to vandalise the encyclopedia. PamD 20:39, 25 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
