The IP addresses in this range have been responsible for vandalism across a variety of pages. At first glance, there are 3 different high School articles, Louisiana based articles, and articles related to a wide variety of school-related subjects, such as FunBrain, that have been vandalized.   • There have been a total of 90 edits at this address. 10 were seemingly constructive edits, 5 were reverts of the user's own vandalism, and the other 75 were pure vandalism. This account has been blocked 7 times since October 2007, all for repeat vandalism. During the most recent period when the IP was unblocked, in October 2008, all of the edits were non-constructive. Since then, a block has been placed on the IP for a period of one year for repeat vandalism. This IP is mainly active between the hours of 8:30 am and 2:30 pm Central time, corresponding to normal school hours. The edits occur across a wide variety of subjects, including edits at articles relating to Louisiana. These edits include a change to Central Lafourche High School, a high school in Louisiana. There are a variety of profanities and vulgar language used, as well as derogatory comments about other people and places such as this edit.

Out of these edits, 16 were not vandalism. 8 appear to be constructive edits, 4 are requesting that a block be lifted from administrators, 2 are reverts of their own vandalism, 1 is removing warning messages from their talk page, and 1 is removing someone else’s vandalism. The edits occurred mainly between 8:30 am and 2:30 om Central time, again corresponding to normal school hours. The edits were across a variety of subjects, including Plaquemine Senior High School, a school in Louisinana. During this past block, the user attempted to request an unblock from administrators, which was denied due to the level of vandalism occurring.

Final Analysis

  • All of the IP's come from the same company, SkyRider Communications, and originate from Louisiana. The SkyRider website states that they cater to commercial entities, state and local governments, and educational systems. Taking this into account, it seems that the above edits are from one or several students in a school district that SkyRider services in Louisiana.
