CFD closing or relisting

Hi, thanks or helping to reduce or avoid backlogs at CFD. I came across Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2025_October_3#Fictional_$NATIONALITY_people_by_medium, which you closed as nominated even though there was no other participation or scrutiny. Although it initially looks like a no-brainer, some of the member subcats do not belong in Category:Fictional characters by medium where they have been merged.[1] IMHO it would have been better to relist this to seek scrutiny by more experienced editors. – Fayenatic London 22:09, 15 November 2025 (UTC)

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
