Welcome to my talk page. Here are some tips to help you communicate with me:

  • Please continue any conversation on the page where it was started.
    • Thus, if I have left a message on your talk page please DO NOT post a reply here. I will have your talk page on watch and will note when you have replied.
  • Add or respond to an existing conversation under the existing heading.
    • Indent your comment when replying by using an appropriate number of colons ':'.
    • Create a new heading if the original conversation is archived.
  • To initiate a new conversation on this page click on this link.
  • If you are expressing a concern about edits made by RussBot, it is extremely helpful if you include a link to a specific page or, even better, a link to a diff showing the actual edit that the bot made. This makes it much easier to diagnose and correct problems.
  • You should sign your comments. You can do this automatically by typing four tildes (~~~~).

Out of curiosity, is there still code that could update this report? It was last updated in 2011, and there are a huge number of stale listings. -- Beland (talk) 08:24, 6 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, no, I can't find the script that was used to generate the report the last time. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 16:58, 8 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, thanks for checking. -- Beland (talk) 19:19, 8 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Technical news

  • Starting on November 4, the IP addresses of logged-out editors are no longer being publicly displayed. Instead, they will have a temporary account associated with their edits.
  • Administrators will now find that Special:MergeHistory is now significantly more flexible about what it can merge. It can now merge sections taken from the middle of the history of the source (rather than only the start) and insert revisions anywhere in the history of the destination page (rather than only the start). It's really not necessary for you to lecture me about Wikipedia procedures. But thank you for your concern. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 16:13, 2 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I have not provided anything a remotely respected instructor would term a "lecture" so I have no idea what you are saying. Regardless, if someone is not following policy WP:AGF requires that I assume it is being done unintentionally rather than deliberately. ~2025-31245-28 (talk) 16:15, 2 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
