1987 United Kingdom general election
[edit]Hi. I had to revert your recent change to 1987 United Kingdom general election because it caused a lint error. Please see the edit history. -- 92.21.137.132 (talk) 12:56, 20 July 2025 (UTC)
Re: Christine Keeler
[edit]Hello, I thought posted page of the lyrics themselves would serve as a reliable source (since the line isn't oblique; it's just "I feel now like Christine Keeler, sleepwalking in the rain; I didn't mean to lose direction, I didn't want that kind of fame").
I'd tried one such site that Wikipedia automatically swatted down, but since it accepted Genius.com, I thought I'd found a place the community did trust for this. What source might demonstrate this reference more concretely?

David Lodge
[edit]Hi Neveselbert -- I was going through my talk page looking for something else and ran across our discussion about David Lodge -- and figured it would be worth while taking a second look now that some time has passed. While not intending to be an "I told you so" sort of moment, I did look at the data, and as expected the popularity of the author has dropped below the voice actor, as it was prior to his death. [1] This is the primary reason for our pause regarding recent events, as they can artificially make something appear far more popular than they are going to be in the long term. However, it was entirely possible, that his death would have spawned a renewed interest in this person, but that does not appear to be the case. Cheers! 06:07, 28 July 2025 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tiggerjay (talk • contribs)
- Thanks for following up. I won't pursue this further for now, but I still believe the author's long-term significance sets him apart and may revisit if circumstances change. ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 03:29, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
