PAR Technology Draft AfC[edit]Hi there, thank you for reviewing my first Wikipedia article submission! For some background/context, I had initially tabled my suggestion to the Deletion review folks here who seemed open to having a draft submitted: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2024_June_13 I understood that my article may have read more like an advertisement. I had tried to be as simple and objective as possible with my language, and to cite reputable independent sources for my content to demonstrate notability. Any feedback would be welcomed on which parts may have sounded like an ad. Maybe I missed the mark being too detailed to try and showcase notability? Happy to delete and edit it as necessary. New article[edit]HI @HitroMilanese I have created a new page on Bengali series Kaantaye Kaantaye. Request you to look into it and suggest what I could do to make it better and if possible review it.
AfC dispute: Roger Bright[edit]Hi! I would like to dispute your recent rejection of the AfC draft for Roger Bright. You claimed he does not fill Wikipedia's notability requirements for musicians, however he fulfills the following requirements as I explain in the brackets following the requirement:
Draft:Garrett_Armfield[edit]Hello, First of all thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I see you are the editor of UFC Bantamweight Garrett Armfield's draft. I have edited the draft and added references to the text which was originally written by the fighter himself. I have had issues with his last fight: I added it, but the row was added horizontally instead of vertically.

Reason for creating page[edit]Hi, sir. The main reason for creating this page is recognition. That actor voiced the characters of the most popular Indian produced animation tv series which ran for more than 5 years including films. While searching the internet for his interviews and articles, I found that there is photo of another Bengali actor with same name, instead of this comedian in the Motu Patlu cast and crew page. That is a big mistake people will think that Bengali actor's contribution while the real one is unkown. So I am still searching for official sites mentioning his works and similar things to make his Wikipedia page approved. Menarie221 (talk) 05:45, 20 October 2024 (UTC) Draft:Frederic Kimball[edit]Hello Why do you say my sources are not reliable, it is all in an article from Variety, a well known cinema publication. I did put the reference under Frankybonesmister (talk) 14:31, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
{{SAFESUBST:Void| Thank you for taking the time to review this article. I am just not understanding how to meet the "significant coverage" bar here. Johnny's works have been reviewed in quite a few online and paper magazines (https://johnnyrayjones.com/press). There are 37 links to verifyable reviews of his past three CD releases. They are all independant sources, though most of them are small publishers (blues magazines or blues music related websites). They are all secondardy and independant. Should I just link to that press page in the article as a reference? Or are those kinds of music reviews just not meeting the bar for "significant coverage"? It just seems odd that some of the musicians that played on his albums have very short wikipedia pages with no CDs of their own released, only "appeared on" credits, but not the main guy. I feel like I'm missing something or just did something wrong in the way I wrote the article, I'm not very experienced with wikipedia biography authoring. Robertson draft[edit]Hi @HitroMilanese, I'm sorry for not responding to your message on my talk page. Initially, the message does appear like a warning or an advice, and I didn't know it would result in moving the page to draft. In such cases, for example, you wrote "Did you observe that the subject is also the article’s author? Personally, I would have declined it and requested additional references. Please be mindful of your Schumacher's level velocity, as it may not be beneficial to the project. Regards", and I think that the question is somewhat off since I accessed all the sources. Personal thinking may not be the scope of the encyclopedia, and per AFC, we should try as much as possible to help new editors. Belive me, its rare to see new editors
my draft[edit]I know you did not approve of my draft but why did you delete it completle i wanted to make my draft better so maybe it would have approve I know I will have to make it a new one and make it better but if i had my old one it could have been a base to the new one. Thank you for reaching out and providing guidance regarding the article draft process. I appreciate the suggestions to visit the Articles for Creation help desk and the Teahouse for further assistance. This article represents a new concept or thought, and I’m unsure how to navigate the approval process effectively. I’d greatly appreciate any clarification or help in getting it approved. Since this is an initial idea, I’m open to refining and improving it based on feedback. Thank you for your time and support! Krishna.cell (talk) 14:44, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
Hunts Point Express[edit]Hi, I'm puzzled by your remark in rejecting this post that the articles cited make only passing reference to the subject. The 1100-Word NYT article cited in footnote 1 is entirely about The Hunts Point Express, its reporters and editor. Moreover, the article is similar to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mott_Haven_Herald which has been on Wikipedia for years. The other citations concern the editors of the publication. I'd appreciate an explanation to help me improve the article. Adamsguy (talk) 19:27, 17 November 2024 (UTC)

Inquiry About Feedback on Draft Submission[edit]Dear HitroMilanese, Thank you for taking the time to review my draft submission. I understand that the initial version appeared more promotional than encyclopedic, and I have since worked on revising the content to align with Wikipedia's guidelines. Selsmart by Attero is a notable initiative addressing the growing challenge of e-waste recycling in India. I believe this platform holds significant value in terms of environmental impact and technological innovation. I have ensured that the revised content includes reliable third-party sources and is presented in a neutral tone. I would greatly appreciate any further feedback or guidance to ensure compliance with Wikipedia's policies. Please let me know if additional adjustments are necessary for resubmission. Thank you for your time and support. Selsmart by Attero (talk) 10:31, 10 December 2024 (UTC)

Another thing to watch for[edit]Hi Hitro, can I ask you to watch out for something else, especially when you check new drafts? Sometimes we get children writing their personal information such as date of birth and name and location on wikipedia. When that happens, and I recently noted it on a page you'd declined, can you email WP:Oversight to get it suppressed? Thanks and happy editing ϢereSpielChequers 11:32, 15 February 2025 (UTC)

BankSathi Article Review Request[edit]I'd love your thoughts on the BankSathi article; can you give it a review? MH-wiki2025 (talk) 12:52, 1 March 2025 (UTC) The European Destubathon[edit]You are invited to participate in The European Destubathon in April. Almost $3000 in Amazon voucher prizes which can be used to buy books for content, though it can also be treated as an editathon if you're not interested in competing! Minimum content to be added to each article just to ensure that they're over a stub. Entries at the end of the contest will be tipped into the 50,000 Destubbing Challenge and European Challenge. Previous contests were really enjoyable and I'm hoping this one will be too! Sign up if interested. Thanks! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:05, 6 March 2025 (UTC) The addition to my biography has been declined due to not having "reliable sources". I don't understand. The reliable sources are references to a published book entitled Handy, D. Antoinette (1981). Black Women in American Bands & Orchestras. The Scarecrow Press. pp. 36, 53, 124 ISBN-10: 0-8108-1346-7). How much more reliable can one get?[edit]I have been asked by those who have read my Wikipedia to elaborate on my younger years. "I" am the reliable source, as is references to the Library of Congress. So, I would appreciate your definition of "reliable sources" when a published book and the Library of Congress have the information I have written in the draft. Please advise. Yvonne S. Thornton (talk) 16:53, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Hi, I dont inderstand how my submission lacks notability, I site many solo and exhibition shows the artist has participated in at notable galleries and museums internationally over the past two decades. I also site independent and notable magazines the artist has been covered in such as Artforum and E-flux. I don't see how these qualifications don't make them a notable enough contemporary artist. Peter F. Carls submission[edit]Thank you for taking a look at my submission on Peter F. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 15:25, 24 April 2025 (UTC) Hi, and thank you for the review of my submission https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Lindie_Botes I understand your concerns, and I have now tried to support the information previously sourced from LinkedIn by adding references to other sources. However, for content such as TV interviews, those recordings are not always preserved, and YouTube is often the only place where they remain accessible. The same applies to SoundCloud (there is only one link, by the way); it’s a podcast with a substantial following that I’ve cited. Although they also publish on other platforms like Spotify, the content is essentially the same, so I chose not to change that particular link. With the above in mind, I kindly ask you to re-evaluate the recent changes when you have a moment. Thank you in advance! Punarinta (talk) 15:29, 5 May 2025 (UTC) You are invited to participate in The World Destubathon. It's currently planned for June 16-July 13, partly due to me having hayfever during that period and not wanting to run it throughout July or August in the hotter summer and will be run then unless multiple editors object. There is currently $3338 going into it, with $500 the top prize. As 250 countries and entities is too much to patrol, entries will be by user, but there is $500 going into prizes for editors covering the most countries. Sign up if interested! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:15, 28 May 2025 (UTC) |
