Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Daniel Case (talk) 17:16, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel: Hi, sure, I understand all of those above, and as long as i make it notable, without a conflict of interest and not comercial we should not have a problem, should we? Please do understand that I am only human and a relatively young adult; I'm quite new to all this wikipedia article writing. I'll give the article another look and try to make it as non-comercial as possible once I'm unlocked but, in any case, if I do summit an article that doesn't fit that description it will be denied once again right? So as long as i'm clear of what my article should and shouldn't be I would be free to keep editing right? Kind Regards Karlisle

Karlisle, I think you need to re-read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. The gist of that guideline is that the editing of articles regarding subjects to which one is closely related is strongly discouraged. If you were to gain your username change, in all likelihood your COI would prevent you from creating or substantially editing the ARLab article. Tiderolls 23:32, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation

[edit]

1. This is promotional: it is addressed to the prospective buyer, even saying repeatedly : "you ... "

2. There is no evidence of notability. Notability must be proven by references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. Normally for software, these are substantial reviews.

As a general rule, a suitable page will be best written by someone without Conflict of Interest; it's not impossible to do it properly with a conflict of interest or as a paid press agent, but it's relatively more difficult: you are automatically thinking in terms of what the subject wishes to communicate to the public, but an uninvolved person will think in terms of what the public might wish to know.

However, since the name you have used includes or refers to the subject of the article, you must choose another username. As explained in WP:USER, only individuals may edit. When you have a username that is or includes the name of your organization, you imply that you are editing officially, and have a superior right to edit the page. But that is not the way WP works--all editors are considered equal--and your contributions like those of any editor must be justified by sources. I'm sure you do not intend to give such impression, but that's why we have the rule. Therefore, please choose another name. On that user page, you should disclose your conflict of interest.. Your draft article, ARLAb

[edit]

Hello KarlisleKrossKross. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled ARLAb.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/ARLAb}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 14:00, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
