The Mayor of Auburn is the highest elected position in the city of Auburn, Alabama. The mayor serves as the head of the Auburn City Council, presiding over the meetings, and they are elected in city-wide elections.[2]
Responsibilities
[edit]The mayor serves as the chief financial officer of the city, and is required to submit the economic status of the municipality once every six months.[3]
