Poetry

[edit]

Alrashidi is a poet. He has published some of his poems in Arabic Journals[10][11][12] One of his original Arabic poems and its English translation are as follows:

O Sea! I don't claim that I am a good swimmer, or I am not afraid of the waves and drown.
But, I spent my life building ships, and the bridges and paths on your Ocean.

The wave is moving and swinging, while the shore hugs it. The hugging was like one has been gone for a long time and come back.
O Dear, who took place in my heart, you had not cure its pain. Give me your attention, I shall show you the wounds and the pain.
