Moving Walls is an outdoor advertising technology company founded in 2008 in Singapore. It develops programmatic buying, planning, and audience measurement solutions for out-of-home (OOH) media across multiple regions, including Asia, Africa, and North America.
History and Expansion
[edit]The company was founded by Srikanth Ramachandran and initially focused on OOH audience measurement using multi-sensor technology. It later expanded its services to include ad inventory planning and automated media buying.[2]
In March 2023, Moving Walls inaugurated operations in China and the United States, marking a significant step in its global growth strategy.[3]
In May 2020, Moving Walls acquired Ahoy, a mobile ad-tech company in Singapore, integrating its technology into Moving Walls’ Location Media Xchange platform.[4]
Platforms and Technology
[edit]Moving Walls’ flagship platform, Location Media Xchange (LMX), enables programmatic OOH advertising and integrates audience analytics via partnerships such as with Quividi.[5]
In November 2023, the firm partnered with Cedara to incorporate CO₂ emissions calculations into campaign planning for sustainable advertising strategies.[6]

- In early 2023, the company partnered with Dentsu Africa to roll out addressable DOOH campaigns in several African countries.[8][9]
- In 2024, Moving Walls partnered with Hola Media Group to provide performance measurement services across major Indian cities.
Market Activities
[edit]In May 2019, Moving Walls launched a campaign in India using its "Three Billboards" initiative to offer standardised post-campaign analysis with major agencies like Rapport WW, covering over 20,000 sites across Asia and the USA.[10]
