Hi! I'm Iseult. I hang around here when I'm not supposed to be working or spending time with people offline. Usually, I gnome in various ways; lately, this has taken the form of new page patrol and discussion closing (I like contributing in the background), though in the past I've been much more active on the anti-vandal front. This is also an excuse to avoid working on article expansion, which I keep telling myself, with good reason, takes up a lot more uninterrupted free time than I have. In general, so far as articles are concerned, I'm interested in elections, classical music, and war.

Things I'm proud of

Marian reforms. After reading, on r/AskHistorians, about how the Marian reforms, contrary to popular thought, didn't exist as such, I found an old comment on the talk page, proposed a rewrite/restructure of the article to the editor who had made that comment and helped, in my small ways, shepherd the article on its path to GA. Full credit to Ifly6 for the hard work.
Talk:1924 retreat from Chaoen#Casualties in the infobox. Resolved, following a request to WP:3O, a dispute involving numbers. While this isn't the first time I've emailed people for Wikipedian purposes, the material Professors Quiroga and Macías graciously sent me proved interesting and made me crack open the former's new biography of Primo de Rivera. While researching, a page move also proved necessary. Also, resolving a dispute is always rewarding.

This is time-consuming owing to have to dig through my files, but I need to do this before my laptop dies with said files on them. I don't easily have access to the university library where I scanned the documents anymore.
