Mary Zins (June 2, 1964 – August 22, 2019) was a freelance illustrator and cartoonist based in Tacoma WA.

Biography

She was daughter of Chuck Zins, commercial illustrator, and Dolores. Zins studied illustration, design and fine art at Cleveland State University and Tri-College Consortium.[1]

Carrier

She has worked as a graphic artist for the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Her work has also been highlighted in the Union of World Cartoonists Magazine, Cartoon Home Network International, Tomato Cartoon Magazine, Cairocature, and Bir Kitap Bin Dost.

She was a member of the Association for American Editorial Cartoonists, Union of World Cartoonists, United Sketches and Le Crayon. She received several international awards.
