Edit request of 27 October 2024
[edit]Greetings and felicitations. Would you (whomever you might be) please be so kind as to add the OCLC ID (67375475) and change the "all" in the book's title to "All"? —DocWatson42 (talk) 20:22, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Also, change the edition to "3rd"—see the prefaces at Google Books, and count the editions.
- Or rather, don't, as I can't find explicit proof. —DocWatson42 (talk) 20:37, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Except here. —DocWatson42 (talk) 20:39, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- This page in the book is vague about edition numbering. I think calling it the "3rd" or "4th" edition would be WP:OR on our part. The year will have to do unless you can find printed proof of an edition number. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:19, 26 September 2025 (UTC)

- I don't see one: https://books.google.com/books?id=WfODMIsqtTQC&newbks=1&newbks_redir=0&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q=edition&f=false . —DocWatson42 (talk) 22:24, 26 September 2025 (UTC)

Please capitalize "all" in the second instance of the book's title (i.e.: "All Fighting Ships of the Royal Navy"), per title case, as the word is an adjective (https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/all). —DocWatson42 (talk) 19:41, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
- Or just complete all (ahem) of my requests in my previous posts above. —DocWatson42 (talk) 19:43, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
Done, along with the OCLC ID. Is there a reason that we are truncating the title of this book? It seems to have "from the 15th Century to the Present" at the end of the title, at least in the 2006 edition. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:16, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. ^_^

- I have no idea. If that is the full title, I would add it. —DocWatson42 (talk) 22:21, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
