Collapsing

[edit]

Izno, I'm not particularly bothered by the dark mode changes, but now it doesn't collapse when editing a page where it's transcluded (e.g. editing WP:BRFA or its subpages). Primefac (talk) 23:45, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Weird. I've fixed it. Izno (talk) 00:00, 26 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to be a pain, Izno but any page transcluding this (i.e. any BRFA page or subpage) has two navbox-style intsruction boxes, then this thing, which breaks the flow and honestly I thought it had disappeared. Could we move it back to the old style seen with Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Instructions for bot operators and Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Instructions for BAG members? Sorry for not noticing it earlier. Primefac (talk) 13:03, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'd actually change how "Instructions for bot operators" does it in a similar fashion - the objective here is simultaneously to eliminate the container templates since tables are supported by the relevant software directly. (The instructions for BAG should change but not in this direction, since it's not a table.)
I added some color for the caption, does that help? Izno (talk) 23:03, 4 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Really, it's the disconnect in location of the [show] option; the group notice has two collapsed sections with [show] on the right, followed by a centred [show] three lines later - it's jarring and hard to find. Primefac (talk) 15:00, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
