|chapter= chapter of the specific legislation being cited, i.e. the statute number within the year mandatory
|page= initial page of the specific legislation being cited (within the official document)
|section= section of the specific legislation
|title= name of legislation
|ex= extraordinary session number
|res= indicates a resolution connected with the specific legislation being cited any value invokes it
|HR= indicates a House Resolution connected with the specific legislation being cited any value invokes it
|quote= a quotation from the specific legislation being cited
|direct-url= an alternative additional URL to the default http://clerk.assembly.ca.gov/ link, if one is desired optional
