- diffhist Post-punk 06:12 −2 AwerDiWeGo talk contribs (I might need someone to explain to me how "post-punk revival" is more of a fusion genre than each and every other genre that is not categorized as such in this infobox. All genres in popular music are fusion genres, that's why the term is meaningless most of the times and almost nobody uses it for things like this... the term is meaningful for music for which the term 'fusion' is used; as simple and arbitrary as that... (I think).)

- diffhist New wave music 00:07 −239 Aradicus77 talk contribs (OK fair but I removed "encompassing pop-oriented styles" since that's not that relevant to the section, the genre originally emerged in the mid to late 70s and was coined by Seymour Stein, then it gave way to many different other genres, but when it begun it was a catch in term for accessible punk music that later morphed into encompass what you've said stuff like synth pop and so on) Tag: Visual edit

- diffhist New wave music 00:06 +226 Bryan1518 talk contribs (Not all new wave was straight up rock music. Stuff like The Human League and others were not all Rock and were considered New Wave. In the Rock music article, New Wave is listed more as a derivative form. Calling all New wave music to be Rock would be misleading, especially since some new wave artists were bringing synth to the forefront, and less emphasis on electric guitars.)
