Gem (sometimes referred to as Gem TV Asia formerly known as Sony Gem ) is a pay television channel owned by Sony Pictures Television, a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment. The channel was first launched in Vietnam on 1 January 2014[6] and was subsequently rolled out in other countries in Southeast Asia (excluding Malaysia). The channel broadcasts its programming either dubbed or subtitled in local languages.

On 21 February 2019, the channel was closed down in Vietnam due to low audience.

On 18 March 2020, both GEM and Sony One have been rebranded, now having newer fonts for their logo and omitted the stylized "S" logo.
