  • Comment: Only new citation added is a Discogs reference. While DIscogs is a cool site, it isn't a reliable source because it's user-edited. Concentrate on finding reliable sources that are independent of the subject and that discuss him in significant detail, per WP:42. Thanks wia (talk) 00:24, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

Louis DeWray new article content ...

Louis DeWray is an English singer, songwriter, multi-instumentalist and record producer. He is best know as lead singer and lyricist for the gothic rock band Nosferatu. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

Life and career

1991–93: Nosferatu early career

DeWray appears as lead vocalist on gothic rock band Nosferatu's early E.Ps 'Hellound', 'Vampyres Cry', Diva', and Nosferatu's debut album Rise which achieves sales of over 14,700 and becomes one of the most successful second wave gothic rock albums of all time.

1993-2000: Fashionable Living Death (F.L.D.)

DeWray joins 'Fashionable Living Death' (F.L.D.) as keyboard player on an organ / keyboard described by DeWray as 'a 12bit sine wave sample, through an 18" speaker, turned up until it sounded as loud as everyone else..enough to lose your balance when I played E#'. In a 2015 front page cover interview for Spanish magazine 'The 13th' DeWray describes his time in F.L.D - ..'Fashionable Living Death were the greatest band to be in anyone could wish for. More than you can possibly imagine'. [6] This period in the band's life has in part been documented by artist Anna Fox in her study 'Pictures Of Linda' [7]

2001-2005: Ditzy Micro

DeWray forms 'Ditzy Micro' a 3 piece band with Jules Davies playing bass, and Matt Dowden on drums. Ditzy Micro play numerous gigs in South-East England and eventually attract the attention of Geffen Records and producer Ross Robinson who flies from L.A to London especially to see the band rehearse. DeWray describes the experience - 'He stuck toilet paper in his ears and told us he 'loved our art', said he'd never seen anyone play bass like 'Jules did. Scared the **** out of me, frankly. I was expecting him to be American Loud but he was so quiet, unnervingly so. Completely threw me. His mum's pretty cool.. But it was too late, really, by the time he heard us, we were done. A big shame.'

2003-2014: Nosferatu

DeWray rejoins Nosferatu for their 2011 album Wonderland [8] which was recorded, mixed and mastered by DeWray at his Earth Terminal studio facility in Hampshire, UK. DeWray is credited with the majority of songwriting and instrumentation of Wonderland over the course of the album's lengthy seven year gestation. DeWray describes writing lyrics for Wonderland whilst overlooking an unusual vantage point encompassing The Devil's Punchbowl in Hampshire (UK) to the north, and Bramshott Manor on the edge of The Royal Forest of Woolmer to the south. [9] 'It's a place I know from when we used to ride around as kids on our bikes and walk dogs. When I was looking for somewhere that felt like home but was really quiet and private so I could sing my heart out working on stuff without worrying about anyone hearing, I remembered it and went back up there for a recky. It's such a powerful, quiet spot, for special occasions only. As far away as I could find from a city club or a big concert'.

2014

DeWray's position as lead singer of Nosferatu is terminated.
