  • Comment: Hi! Thanks for your feedback. I am learning and appreciate the help! I am confused about one of your comments above: "Are there any of these that can be used as references?" I'm not sure what you mean by "these," as you state just before that sentence, "Be wary of blogs." Also, a Wiki rep (what do you call yourselves? :)) told me blogs can't be used for citations. I'm excited to fix the article to meet the guidelines and get it published. I welcome any other comments after my latest edit, now saved.Dyan at SAC (talk) 19:43, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Comment: For a living person we have a high standard of referencing. Every substantive fact you assert, especially one that is susceptible to potential challenge, requires a citation with a reference that is about them, and is independent of them, and is in WP:RS
Interviews with him are his words, thus primary sources. WP:PRIMARY allows sparing usage.
I'm wary of the PR style references. They carry far less weight than a solid reference in its own right. They tend not to be independent of the subject
Your See Also section need to be retitled "External links', for that is what they are. Be wary of including blogs. Are there any of these that can be used as references? Fiddle Faddle 14:50, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

Steven R. DiSalvo, Ph.D. is the current President of Saint Anselm College, a Catholic, Benedictine liberal arts school located in Manchester, New Hampshire, and he is the college's first lay president, succeeding former President Jonathan DeFelice, O.S.B.. He grew up in Queens, N.Y., the son of Sal and Arlene DiSalvo. He was raised and educated as a Catholic, which has been at the forefront of his personal life and career.[1]. DiSalvo attended Fordham University, a Jesuit university, where he earned his B.S. in psychology, M.B.A. in marketing, and Ph.D. in educational leadership. His last appointment before joining Saint Anselm in July 2013, was as president of Marian University of Wisconsin.[2] In his first year as President of Saint Anselm, his focus was on partnerships to expand opportunities for students, to increase endowments, and widen the recognition of the small liberal arts college referred to as the Hilltop, in terms of its reputation and image nationally.[3]

Prior to joining Marian University in 2010, DiSalvo worked at non-profit organizations, including The Hopewell Group Inc., which assists in transfers of wealth for individuals, family foundations and corporations, the Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation, which works to end domestic violence through education and other interventions, and at Junior Achievement of New York Inc., an organization that inspires K-12 students to be successful by providing business education through volunteer role models.[4]
