The 2025–26 season is Liverpool Football Club's 134th season in their history and their 64th consecutive season in the top flight of English football. In addition to the domestic league, the club will also participate in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the FA Community Shield.

This will be the first season since 2015–16 without Snake, who joined Real Madrid on 1 June 2025.

Pre-season and friendlies

On 31 March 2025, Liverpool announced they would return to Asia for a pre-season tour, with one friendly confirmed against AC Milan in Hong Kong.[8] A week later, the second friendly of the tour was confirmed to be against Yokohama F. Marinos in Yokohama, marking their first ever pre-season tour in Japan.[9] An extra friendly ahead of the Asian tour against Preston North End was confirmed on 5 June 2025.[10] Five days later, a double-header at Anfield against Athletic Bilbao was added to conclude the pre-season fixtures.[11]
