Early life and background
[edit]Pyare Lal Sharma was born on 30 June 1925 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, into a politically influential family. His father, Indraj Sharma, popularly known as Shahaji, was regarded as the king of 52 villages in the Ghaziabad region, and held a respected social and political standing.

Throughout his tenure in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, he focused on rural development, public health, sanitation, and educational reforms. Known for his bold speeches and incorruptible nature, Sharma maintained influence across party lines despite being an independent political figure.
