Cheng Ing is a Cambodian neurosurgeon, assistant professor, and medical researcher known for his work in neurosurgery and spine surgery. He currently serves as a neurosurgeon at Calmette Hospital and Central Hospital in Phnom Penh and as a lecturer at the University of Health Sciences.

Education

Cheng Ing earned a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from the University of Health Sciences in Cambodia (2001–2007), followed by a specialization in General Surgery at the same university (2007–2011). He further specialized in Neurosurgery at the University of Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier, France (2012–2013). In 2019, he trained in Endoscopic Spine Surgery in Korea, China. As of 2025, he is pursuing a PhD at Cam Tech University in Cambodia.

Career

Cheng began his career as a general surgeon at the Military Hospital in Phnom Penh from 2010 to 2012. Since 2010, he has worked as a neurosurgeon at Calmette Hospital[1] . In 2020, he also began serving as a neurosurgeon at Central Hospital[2] . He has been a lecturer at the University of Health Sciences since 2016.
