The Oops!...I Did It Again Tour was Britney Spears' third tour to help promote her hit album, Oops!...I Did It Again and her first World Tour. She began the tour on June 20, 2000 in Columbia, Maryland and traveled through the US and Europe before wrapping up in mid-November in the UK. Spears performed one more Oops show in January 18, 2001 as part of Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for a Rock In Rio concert special.

History

She had three television specials from this concert. One in 2000 called There's No Place Like Home filmed at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans and airing on the FOX Network and a British television special called Britney Spears Live in London filmed at Wembley Arena and Britney Spears Live from Rock in Rio Brazil which aired in Brazilian television Multishow (Globosat). Britney was only eighteen years old during the time of the tour.

Spears was already set to play the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, California way before she was booked to play at Inglewood's Forum. When the Morrison, Colorado date was canceled due to the venue (Red Rocks Amphitheatre) not being big enough for the show's set, tour producers also found the same problem with the stage at the Bowl. Two weeks before Spears was to hit the stage at the Bowl, the tour was transferred to The Forum in Inglewood, California for two nights. Fans who had already purchased tickets to the Bowl concert were transferred over to the Forum to get tickets before they went on sale to the public. Even though there wasn't much time to sell tickets, both shows sold out almost instantly.

After Spears' show in Columbus, Ohio, she flew to New York for MTV Video Music Awards. She performed a remixed medley of (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction and Oops!...I Did It Again.
