Last Girl on Earth Tour
The - yet untitled - 2010 Tour is a world tour by Barbadian singer Rihanna to support her album Rated R. The first tour dates were released by her official website on December 9, 2009.[1] The tour officially begins on April 16 2010.
Performances
On November 16, Rihanna performed at Brixton Academy. The concert was recorded and streamed live on Nokia's website. The performance saw the introduction of Rihanna's new backing band, The Mad House as well as a remix of Disturbia. Hard was performed with Young Jeezy, whilst Run This Town and Umbrella were both performed with Jay-Z.
It was announced through Rihanna's official Myspace page and website that she would be performing at the Hammerstein Ballroom [2][3] in New York City on December 3, 2009.
Background Information
The tour will be Rihanna's second headlining tour. Fans will receive a completely new image and stage show from the singer. The tour is expected to be edgier than the previous tour, The Good Girl Gone Bad Tour. It is also expected to reach North America in late June 2010, followed by Asia, Australia, and others.
