Ponoy River (Поной in Russian) is a river on the Kola Peninsula in Russia. It is 426 km in length. The area of its basin is 15,500 sq km. The Ponoy River flows into the White Sea. It freezes up in the late October - early November and stays under the ice until the first half of May.
