U.S. Post Office Albion
Vorlage:Infobox nrhp The U.S. Post Office in Albion, New York is a historic post office building located at Albion in Orleans County, New York and within the boundaries of the Orleans County Courthouse Historic District (non-contributing structure). It was designed and built in 1937-1938 as a Works Progress Administration project, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. It is a one story brick structure set on a stone watertable in the Colonial Revival style. The interior features "Along the Barge Canal"; a mural from 1939 by artist Judson Smith (1880-1962).[1]
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 as US Post Office-Albion.[2]
