A Girl like Me
Vorlage:Future album Vorlage:Album infobox A Girl Like Me is the second album by Barbaian Pop/R&B/Dancehall singer Rihanna. The album will be released through Def Jam Records and is expected to be released on April 25 2006. The lead single "S.O.S. (Rescue Me)" has achieved considerable airplay throughout the United States and Canada and has reached high peak positions on both airplay charts.
Rihanna has stated she has tried to incorporate more rock music into her album. R&B artist Ne-Yo has been writing for this album too, including the song "Unfaithful", which will be the second single of the album. Rihanna said on an interview with Carson Daly that much of the music she sang on this album is music she would never have sung before.
A high quality leak of the album hit P2P and other filesharing sites on April 18, 2006. It is unknown what affect, if any, this will have on sales of the album when it is officially released.
A special edition of this album will be sold, which will include limited edition postcards and alternate album covers.
