Saaphyri Windsor is an American reality television contestant, hairstylist, and actress. Saaphyri is well known for fighting with another contestant "H-Town" on the TV show Flavor of Love 2. Saaphyri is the only girl in the Flavor of Love trilogy not to receive a nickname. In 2007 Saaphyri won the reality show Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School receiving $50,000. Saaphyri has since launched her own line of unisex lip balm called Saaphyri's Lip Chap [1] which stemed from Saaphyri offering H-Town "lip chap" after their fight on Flavor of Love 2.

Flavor of Love 2

In 2006, Saaphyri participated in the second season of Flavor of Love. Less than 15 minutes after entering Flavor Flav's house, Saaphyri and H-Town engaged in a fight over a bed which led to violence. Flavor Flav stepped in and listened to both sides of the story regarding the fight. Flav then reviewed the tapes containing footage of the fight and decided that Saaphyri initiated the fight and eliminated her from the competition, saying that violence was something he could not have in his house. This gave Saaphyri the distinction of being the only girl from the entire Flavor of Love series to not receive a nickname. Saaphyri attempted to defend herself after Flav had made his decision, but was provoked by H-Town; thus insulting H-Town which led to her being carried out of the house by Big Rick. During After the Lovin, Saaphyri and H-Town were brought to the stage to discuss the fight they had. Saaphyri admitted to having gone to anger management classes, in consideration of Flav saying she was too violent. She also says she got a certificate, which amused everyone. Saaphyri was later asked to leave the stage, along with Bootz, Buckeey, Buckwild, and Deelishis, for attempting to fight with Tiffany Pollard a.k.a. New York. Saaphyri and Deelishis were eventually allowed to return to the stage for the remainder of the taping.

Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School

Because of her fight with H-Town in Flavor of Love 2, Saaphyri was invited to participate in Mo'Nique's Charm School, where 13 of the Flavor of Love girls would be assigned the challenge of developing proper etiquette in a competition for $50,000.

In the first episode of Charm School, Saaphyri and the rest of the girls arrived at Charm School, and settled in. The next day, the girls packed for an overnight sisterhood retreat. The girls had to take a two mile hike to their campsite from the bus with each of them lugging items for the camp. Later that night, Mikki Taylor appeared at the campsite to instruct the girls to nominate two captains for each team for the next days challenge: the nominated captains were Leilene and Saaphyri. The following morning, the girls received a wake up call from a Drill Sergeant Franklin Dennis Jones who took them to a marine boot camp obstacle course which would teach them the value of teamwork, and afterwards, a member of the losing team was expelled. Saaphyri picked her team well and went on to win the obstacle course challenge and she and the rest of her team were safe from elimination.

In the second episode, the girls were given a class on proper etiquette. Afterwards, Andrew Firestone from The Bachelor arrived to the house and had to pick the girl that impressed him the most. During the challenge, Saaphyri was paired with Darra and eventually lost the challenge while Darra moved on the dinner with Andrew. Schatar eventually won the challenge, and the next day while Schatar was away with Andrew, the rest of the girls were tasked with preparing a meal for Mo'Nique using her cook book. During their meal with Mo'Nique, the girls had to roleplay each other. Brooke was made fun of for freaking out about the dresses, and everyone laughed. Saaphyri was told to roleplay Cristal so she made fun of how Cristal talked too much. Cristal roleplayed Saaphyri by screaming. Mo'Nique commented on how the girls were fighting and that the lunch was not even a competition.

In the third episode, the girls were given a lesson in high fashion and told they were to split into two teams and put on a fashion show. There were two teams of five (two dress designers, one girl to do hair, one to do make-up, and one to be the model), leaving one girl left over as a judge to be exempt. While the girls argued over who was going to be the judge, Saaphyri went and began gathering people for her team which consisted of Larissa, Leilene, Schatar, and Shay. The second team consisted of Becky, Brooke, Cristal, Darra, and Jennifer, while Courtney served as the guest judge in the competition. On the first team, Leilene was chosen as the model, Saaphyri was chosen for make up, Larissa was chosen for hair and Schatar and Shay were the dress designers. On the second team, Darra was chosen as the model, Cristal was chosen for make-up, Brooke was chosen for hair and Becky and Jennifer were the dress designers. Saaphyri and Larissa spied on the other team while they were creating their dress and were confident that their team would win and eventually did, once again saving Saaphyri's team from elimination.

In the fourth episode, the girls were divided into teams of two for a debate. During the debate. Saaphyri went against Schatar. Saaphyri kept interrupting Schatar when she tried to answer her questions. At the elimination ceremony Mo'Nique called Saaphyri to the carpet for the first time for continually interrupting her opponent during the debate. It was eventually Cristal who was expelled that night.

In the fifth episode, the girls were split into teams of three and were tasked with creating a perfume and selling it to the public. Saaphyri was on a team with Larissa and Courtney and named their product "La'Sa'Cour." Saaphyri's team did the worst but Saaphyri was not called to the carpet.

In the sixth episode, the girls had to donate their clothes to a local charity thrift store. The girls were divided into teams of two and Saaphyri teamed with Becky. Initially, Saaphyri was worried because she didn't have a lot of clothes to donate and intended on donating everything except her uniform to the charity. At the thrift store, when her clothes were given low sale prices, Saaphyri became visibly upset and cried in the back of the store and blew her nose on clothes saying it made her feel worthless and devalued. She eventually composed herself and joined Becky to sell off the rest of their items. At the elimination, Mo'Nique said that because of Saaphyri's generosity, that she and Becky would not be called down to the carpet. After the elimination ceremony, Mo'Nique said she would try to get Saaphyri's Ugg boots back.

In the seventh episode, the girls were given a lesson on how to respond during a celebrity interview. After the lesson, the girls were taken to a hotel where they were interviewed by New York. Saaphyri did the best during the challenge and was saved from elimination that night.

In the eighth episode, the girls were given a lesson on relationships and what kind of men to avoid. After the lesson, they were told that they would be attending the first ever Charm School Prom. Their goal during the prom was to find the "Urban Renaissance Man." Those who found him would be safe from elimination. During the prom, Saaphyri got into a fight with one of the men because of his negative comments about large breasts. Eventually the prom ended and none of the girls choose the Urban Renaissance Man. All of the girls were at risk for expulsion. At elimination, Saaphyri was called down to the carpet. Mo'Nique first told Saaphyri that she was wrong for fighting but because she was not the worst she was safe from elimination.

In the final episode, the four remaining girls were given a pop quiz in a game-show style Q&A to see who had learned the most throughout the season; the first girl to miss three questions was expelled from the competition. The catch to the game was that each girl were able to decide who to direct their questions to. Becky, Saaphyri, and Leilene teamed up together and decided that they would ask Shay all of the questions- which leads to her getting expelled. The final three girls have to give speeches saying what winning Charm School would mean to them. Saaphyri and Leilene won and were given makeovers for the final elimination ceremony. At the ceremony, Mo'Nique told Leilene that she did not win but was given the opportunity to go into modeling thanks in part by Dean Keith. Saaphyri won and broke down into tears, thanking God. As a final gift, Mo'Nique brought out her Ugg boots telling her that she said she'd get them back.

Flavor of Love 3

Episode 7

On this episode of Flavor of Love (Season 3) (episode 7), the remaining girls gather into the great hall. Flav introduces the challenge, then reveals that the girls helping them with the challenge are from his past, Saaphyri (winner of Charm School) and Buckwild. The challenge is that the girls have to put together a "Flavor of Love" calendar to show their business skills which is why Flavor Flav chose Saaphyri to help him, cause she has her own line of lip balm called Lip Chap. When the challenge is over Saaphyri and Buckwild decide who is going to win the date with Flav. They picked two girls, Prancer and Seezinz as winners. Saaphyri then brought four new girls into the competition to the dismay of the older contestants.

Episode 8

The episode begins where episode 7 left off. Saaphyri and Buckwild have brought four girls in the house because they really want Flav to find love. The new girls then introduce themselves to Flavor Flav. The first girl up wants to be called Blue because of her eyes, but Flav names her Black because of the color of her clothes. The next girl is named Mariah and wants to be called Prototype. The third girl up wants to be called Luscious D because she considers herself luscious and because of her D-Sized breast. Flav lets her keep that name. The final girl up was very tall and wanted to be called Legz because of her height. Flav then said that his nephew's name is Legz so he decides to call her Tree. He says she is a tree he would love to climb.
