Sikhanyiso Dlamini

Prinzessin Sikhanyiso Dlamini von Swasiland (geboren 1. September 1987 ) ist die älterste Tochter von König Mswati III von Swasiland. Sie ist eine von 23 Kindern und ihre Mutter ist eine von Mswati's 14 Frauen.

Prinzessin Sikhanyiso ging mit 14 Jahren nach England wo sie in verschiedenen privaten Schulen unterrichtet wurde. Mit 17 ging sie nach Kalifornien wo sie Sprache und Drama an der Biola University studiert hat .

Sie ist das erste Kind von Inkhosikati LaMbikiza und hat mehr als 200 Blutsverwante Onkel und Tanten da ihr Grossvater König Sobhuza II 70 Frauen und 201 Kinder hatte. Sie ist also eine von 1000 Enkelkinder des königlichen Hauses.

In 2001, Mswati III instituted the umchwasho in Swaziland as a means of combatting the AIDS epidemic.

The next year, the Princess criticized the institution of polygamy in Swaziland, saying "Polygamy brings all advantages in a relationship to men, and this to me is unfair and evil". The Princess was subsequently "gagged" by the Royal Palace and the press was not allowed to contact her. She is an aspiring actress and rapper and is commonly known as "Pashu" In Swaziland.

She was featured in a documentary on the monarchy in Swaziland, the disparity between the royals' wealth and widespread poverty of their subjects, and Swaziland's AIDS crisis; under the title "Without the king".
