Shaun Donovan

Shaun Donovan (born January 24, 1966[1]) is the current head of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development. On December 13, 2008, the New York Times reported that Barack Obama would appoint him to his cabinet, to head the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. [2]
During the Clinton administration and the transition to the Bush administration, Donovan was Deputy Assistant Secretary for Multifamily Housing at HUD, and was acting FHA commisioner. He became New York City's housing commissioner in 2004.[3][2]
